Bishop Fenwick High School Names Steve Strathmann President and CEO
School’s transition to President-Principal leadership model strengthens leadership focus on institutional growth and long-term success
Bishop Fenwick High School, a Catholic institution committed to lifelong learning and Christian values, is proud to announce the appointment of Steve Strathmann as the school’s first-ever President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in its 72-year history. This newly established position adopts the President-Principal leadership model to create a strategic division between academic oversight and institutional growth, effectively balancing Fenwick’s greatest priorities.
As President & CEO, Strathmann will be responsible for school operations and fiscal policy while building upon Fenwick’s strong foundation in the areas of Catholic identity, financial health, marketing, fundraising, facility management and long-term strategic planning.
“I look forward to working closely with our faculty, staff, parents and students to build a supportive, inclusive community,” Strathmann said. “Open communication and transparency will be key to our success, and I plan to meet regularly with school leadership to align our goals and ensure Fenwick remains true to its values while fostering an environment where students can excel both academically and spiritually.”
Strathmann brings decades of professional experience to the role, most recently serving as Vice President of Philanthropy at HealthSource of Ohio, where he led the overall advancement of the nonprofit’s foundation. He also gained valuable experience with notable organizations such as TKE Foundation, Archbishop Moeller High School, Southwest Regional Medical Center, University of Cincinnati’s Department of Medicine, Lima Memorial Health System and Catholic Health Partners.
Strathmann holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Xavier University and a bachelor's degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication from Morehead State University. He and his wife Jeane reside in Loveland and have two daughters.
“Fenwick is uniquely positioned to create a legacy of leadership and service, and I am honored to be part of this journey in shaping a school that will positively influence generations to come,” Strathmann said. His first day at Fenwick is December 2.
